A tea and dining experience from the biggest name on Bangkok's Indian dining scene.

With Chef Garima Arora behind one of the most awarded restaurants in the city, Gaa has launched a chai afternoon tea experience for weekend diners who know this is a kitchen that doesn’t miss.

Let’s face it, afternoon teas can be—well, not a scam, but not not a scam either, a way for hotels to wring money from Instagrammers and boring people on holiday. But this is Gaa.

The first-ever Indian-inspired afternoon tea at Gaa, which boasts two Michelin stars and a No.2 ranking at Top Tables 2024, is a chai time that includes, well, what you expect from Gaa: a creative spin on authentic Indian flavors from one of the best teams in the game.

With a menu split up into Namkeen, Biscuits, Savory, and Mithais, you'll find chaats, Indian brown cheese and handmade jaggery cookies.

What will likely impress is the extensive list of teas from No.3 Clive Road separated into a wide selection of Indian teas, Chinese teas, and Sawanbondin teas.

This twist on the afternoon tea, which launched last week, is found at the restored 60 year old traditional Thai in Thonglor in the Gaa Lounge, and is available on Saturdays and Sunday from noon to 5pm, but the last seating is at 3pm. The service is priced at B2,800 for two, including coffee and tea.
