One of Singapore’s most popular outdoor music series, the NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park is back this Sunday (Sep 2), from 5pm-6.30pm, with an exciting line-up of indie music acts featuring some of today’s most versatile young musicians who have emerged from NAC’s Noise Singapore Music Mentorship program. Adia Tay, The Betts and Stopgap

First things first: the music. These three home-grown acts are from the Noise Music Mentorship program, and have emerged as full-fledged musicians. They will be rocking the concert stage with originals that have won audiences over at other music festivals and stage performances in Singapore. Expect them to belt out their own brand of alt-pop, rock, jazz and more for your late Sunday afternoon listening pleasure.

Set in a UNESCO World Heritage Site

We know how great ambience can enhance your music experience and the concert will be held at none other than the breath-taking Singapore Botanic Gardens—a UNESCO World Heritage site. The musicians will perform on The Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, the perfect platform for you to catch the action while relaxing on the grassy lawn.

Picnic & chill

Keeping things easy and carefree, come with your basket of bites and drinks or get them from the nearby eateries. You can expect awesome music as you laze on your picnic mats.

Fringe activities

Come early (from 4.30pm) as the pre-show presents Singaporean singer-songwriter, JAWN, whose soulful voice will enthral you. On top of that, fringe activities will keep you (and the younger ones) entertained.
