Open House, the all-in-one hangout spot at Central Embassy, is spicing up this festive season by hosting Winter Bar—an ongoing event inviting everyone to enjoy delicious cuisines from Dec 19-Jan 1 from 7-11pm.

Taking place at Open House’s rooftop, the event features a chilled-out atmosphere and music from rotating international DJs along with holiday menus from Italian specialist Peppina, authentic Thai restaurant Lady Nara and local favorite Korean joint BonChon. Here are some highlight dishes that you don’t want to miss.

Peppina

Indulge in authentic Napoli pizza made using the finest ingredients from Italian flours, imported buffalo mozzarella and Italian tomatoes. This Christmas, the pizzeria is offering seven special menus packed with the flavors of Naples. Highlights include rock lobster and rucola, truffle and porcini, and desserts like pannettone and strawberry. Festive menus available from Dec 20-Jan 1.  

Lady Nara 

This charming cafe with great vibes serves up savory Thai dishes with sensational flavors that locals love. The restaurant takes diners on a journey of Thai tastes with its Christmas specials, such as the roasted chicken with zesty cranberry sauce, and drinks like the refreshing Christmas tree (a watermelon smoothie topped with green melon). The restaurant’s other renowned dishes includes boat noodles as well as the delicate afternoon tea set with Thai tea scones.

BonChon

This world-famous fried chicken chain might not have special menus for Christmas, but its crispy-skin fried chicken that’s remarkably devoid of grease is still one of the best dishes to enjoy on special occasions. With the double-frying technique, which takes as long as 20 minutes and involves various temperatures, the chicken comes super juicy with its trademark crispy, paper-thin crust. The chicken also comes in three flavor options: soy garlic, hot and barbecue.
