Fireplace Grill and Bar is adding a bold stack of truffle dishes to its revamped menu that came out earlier this year.

Fireplace Grill and Bar at InterContinental Bangkok, one of the longest standing grill restaurants in the city, served up a refreshed grill-forward menu last year that stayed true to its European steakhouse roots while putting a few twists on the restaurant’s traditional formula. Think seared foie gras, Scottish brown crab, and seafood stunners like butter-roasted Canadian lobster and Sicilian red prawns with tagliolini. Prime cuts from Japan, the U.S., and Australia take centre stage alongside French staples like tournedos rossini and escargots a la bourguignonne. For dessert, Crêpes Suzette keeps the retro flair alive.

This July-Aug, the restaurant adds a seasonal twist with a dedicated “Summer Truffle Menu,” featuring indulgent dishes like grilled Stockyard beef tenderloin and Hokkaido scallops laced with black truffle, or a decadent cacao truffle dessert to cap things off if you choose.

The wine list is vast as well and sources bottles from respected, family-run vineyards across the globe.
