Located inside the Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok hotel in Pathum Wan, Stock.Room is one of the city’s few grocerants (a hybrid grocery store and grocerant), making it a food connoisseur’s true one-stop destination. First, there’s the grocery side of things — Stock.Room carries a premium, carefully curated selection, from fresh meat to high quality produce, along with anything else you’ll need to whip up a gourmet meal at home.

As for the restaurant aspect, even the pickiest of eaters will be spoilt for choice. Embracing a farm-to-plate vibe, the majority of ingredients across Stock.Room’s six kitchens are proudly locally sourced. Whether you’re grabbing a quick boost of liquid energy from the Coffee Roastery and Juicery, grabbing a warm plate of pasta from the Pasta Kitchen, or checking out the Bakery, Butcher, or Grill and Larder, it’s evident that the Stock.Room chefs take their food seriously (but without being pretentious about it).

If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a “pop-up” kitchen that regularly serves a rotating menu of Thai dishes. Aspiring Gordon Ramsay’s looking to audition for the next season of MasterChef Thailand can also sign up for a lesson led by a professional chef.

Another great dining option at Stock.Room is the number of special promotions they always have going on.

For instance, if you’re looking to pop out of the office during the week and grab a quick and light lunch with a group of friends or colleagues, we’d recommend The Deli. With a DIY fresh salad bar, a wide selection of cheese, charcuterie, and fresh fruit, and a soup and special menu of the day, it’s the perfect setting to take a quick break from work and catch up. Alternatively, it’s also available later in the evening, making it a chill post-work option as well. The Deli offer starts at B550++, and is ongoing for lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm on Monday to Saturday, and for dinner daily from 5:30pm to 10:30pm.

For something more luxurious and indulgent — say, perhaps for a special occasion — check out the Sea Bar, which, as the name implies, is a seafood extravaganza. In addition to the unlimited cheese, charcuterie, and salad options from The Deli, the Sea Bar serves up all-you-can-eat premium fresh seafood on ice and cooked to order. In addition to your typical fish like salmon and cod, we’re also talking oysters, lobsters, mussels, prawns, squids — you get the gist. Diners can choose to have their seafood grilled, steamed, curried, or stir-fried. Want Thai cuisine? Ask to have your order cooked Tom Yum or Tom Kha-style, made into a sizzling Pad Cha — just to name a few options. The Sea Bar is priced at B1,150++, and is available daily from 5:30pm. to 10:30pm.

And lastly, celebrate your weekend with Stock.Room’s Sunday Brunch, which is available every Sunday from noon to 3pm. Catch up with your loved ones in the gorgeous dining space over a huge international buffet spread and all-you-can-eat à la carte menu that feature the best of the best — to give you an idea, we’re talking grilled Kobe beef, juicy Canadian lobster, and eggs benedict topped with lobster caviar. We also appreciate that there are different brunch packages depending on the included drinks: brunch with soft drinks is priced at B2,550++, and brunch with alcoholic beverages is B3,500++. For family gatherings including the little ones, children between the ages of 6 and 12 can join in on the fun at B888++ (under-6’s dine for free!).

Reservations for any of these promotions can be made through Stock.Room’s reservations page. You can request more information via email at kimptonmaalaibangkok@ihg.com, or by phone at 02-056-9999.
