October means Oktoberfest, and ANJU Korean Rooftop Bar, the first and only venue of its kind that’s located on the 31st floor of the swanky Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection, is hosting their own take on the German festival. In Korean, the term “Ottoke” translates to “What should I do?”, and ANJU’s answer to that question is: Ottokefest! This month, guests can step into the neon-lit venue with its sweeping city views and be treated to a jam-packed calendar celebrating all the best parts of Korean culture, from food to drinks to (of course) K-pop.

To kick off the festivities, ANJU hosted Bangkok’s Highest Random Dance competition. Dancers of all levels took each other on as K-Pop hits randomly blasted on the speakers, with the winners receiving one of several cash prizes, and food and beverage vouchers. The following week, there was also an epic K-Pop Cover Dance Competition where seven talented teams battled it out on the dance floor for a grand cash prize, and, of course, bragging rights that came with the coveted winners’ title.

If you’re bummed that you missed out on either of these competitions, especially if you’re a massive K-Pop fan, the good news is that the K-Pop activities will be on all month long! Head on down for the special K-Pop themed nights, which feature special guest DJs spinning all of your favorite K-Pop hits. To make sure that you don’t miss a single night of action, here’s a handy calendar of ANJU’s full musical line-up (a “*” means it’s a themed night!):

No celebration of Korean culture is complete without a mouthwatering menu of Korean delicacies, which is why, in addition to their regular offerings, ANJU has rolled out a special Ottokefest food and drinks menu. Both the ANJU set’s assortment of nibbles and the creamy corn cheese are perfect for sharing. The kimchi pork belly bao bun and the gochujang tuna sashimi wraps are lighter snacks – for a more filling option, get the juicy pork neck steak. ANJU’s regular menu is also worth checking out, and includes all of your favorite Korean classics like ramyun, bibimbap, and tteokbokki.

Obviously, in addition to Oktoberfest, the other big October holiday is Halloween, and if you’ve never attended a Korean Halloween party, what better year to start than this one? From October 27-31, ANJU encourages guests to dress in their “most creative and Korean-inspired costumes” for a chance to win various surprise gifts and giveaways. There will also be a fun Halloween-themed photobooth where you can snap pics of your outfits.
