NIGHTLIFE: Pillowtalk 

The San Francisco-based trio made up of Sammy D, Ryan Williams and Michael Tello, and known for their genre-defying tracks mixing R'n'B, pop and house, perform live.

GIGS: So! Fresh: Back into the 90's Groove

Soy Sauce Factory and Soul Bar join forces in a party spread across two venues. At Soy Sauce, expect live 90s rap from The Fan x Supergoods, plus plenty of hip-hop and neosoul. Head to Soul Bar for live jazz by Rootman band, who'll be performing the biggest and best hits from the '90s.

NIGHTLIFE: Miguel Migs

The club's series combining nightilfe with art welcomes the San Francisco-based deep house DJ known for his jazz and reggae sounds. He'll be supported by local DJs Hallex M and Alex Imix as well as fine art from GOJA gallery.

THEATER: The King of Garuda

The Joe Louis Puppet Theater's traditional performance follows the mythical tale of sisters who emerge from a golden egg. Part of the proceeds will be donated to H.M. Queen's projects and charity.

FAIRS: Bonjour France Bangkok 2016

The Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce's fiur-day fair features booths from various French products including cosmetics, fashion, interior design and gourmet food and beverage. There will also be a series of cultural performances in collaboration with the French Embassy of Thailand.

FAIRS: Thailand International Travel Fair

The massive travel fair returns for its 19th exhibition, promising nothing but travel-related booths including airlines, travel agents, tour companies, national tourism boards and travel magazines. Previous events have attraced over 800,000 visitors and some 500 booths.

Friday (Jul 15)

NIGHTLIFE: Isan Dancehall Returns

DJ Maft Sai and Dangdut Banget host a night of Afro-Asian music from Kingston to Ubon, Accra to Khon Kaen, Asmara to Jakarta, and Bangkok to Sana’a with all tracks focusing on tough basslines and heavy percussion.

NIGHTLIFE: One Year Anniversary

French restaurant and bar Le Cafe des Stagiaires celebrates its first birthday with music from DJs Rabbitt and Ek plus plenty of promotions and discounts on their beers, wines and Champagne.

GIGS: Speakerbox Vol. 4

Local bands Fwends, Electroactive, Triggs & the Longest Day and Hariguem Zaboy perform live as part of the fourth edition of the live music series at the night market.

ART: Peep in Me 

Artists Watcharapol Paksri and Rapat Bunduwanich perform a live performance in front of CCTVs which will be live streamed at the bar-slash-art space in an experimental art piece exploring the power and danger of surveillance.

FAIRS: Bangkok Book Festival 

The book-focused event returns with seminars and talks from Bangkok-based university lecturers who'll be discussing literature and media-related topics such as the media industry in Thailand, the rise of Bangkok's independent bookstores, book licensing and copyrights, emerging Thai writers and much more. There will also be a large book sale featuring both Thai and international novels and non-fiction works.

SPECIAL SCREENINGS: 30 Second Film Festival

The film festival focusing on extremely short films (30 seconds long) hold its awards night where all the submitted films will be screened followed by an award presentation where the winner of the audience vote will receive at B10,000 prize. Other categories include "Best Documentary," "Best Science Fiction," "Best Director," as well as more tongue-in-cheek awards such as "Most likely to be booed at Cannes" and "Most Tarentino-esque."

NIGHTLIFE: Sunn One Year Anniversary

The nightlife party team celebrates its first birthday with quality house and techno music from all of Sunn's resident DJs.

ART: Save Thai Buffalos and New Mosaic Series

A project by artist Maitree Siriboon using rescued buffaloes as the subject on which he paints replica works by famous artists, ranging from Picasso to Warhol, in an attempt to reverse social stigma around the animals.

University lecturer and author Viriya Sawangchot hosts this edition of the monthly cultural film session, with this week featuring two campaign documentaries that show the opposing sides of propoganda from the recent UK's EU referendum.
