Welsh pop singer Tom Jones has cancelled his Bangkok concert at the last minute.

In a Facebook announcement last night, the veteran performer cited a serious illness in his immediate family. Although no further details have been given, the artist has extended his apologies on various social media platforms.

The Welsh pop icon, who was due to peform for the third time in Bangkok tomorrow at the Bangkok Convention Centre, has also cancelled concerts in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and United Arab Emirates.
