Battling dementia, the septigenarian darling of Thai fashion opens her pop-up on Friday. 
In the wake of her dementia diagnosis, Archara “Taew” Na Ayuthaya gained notoriety for her fashion sense with the help of her son Narinintarakul “Nin” Na Ayuthaya during the pandemic via her instagram account, 70youngteaw.
 
The pair’s story and chronicling of her struggles with dementia warmed hearts and minds around the nation, and now they have announced, at 74, Taew is having the “70 YT Pop-up Shop at GalileOasis.
 
The grand opening for the pop-up will be held on June 13, featuring the septuagenarian’s finest fashion. In the announcement for the pop-up, Taew said, “Fight it day by day. Don't give up” regarding her ongoing battle with dementia. 
 
Nin has acted as caretaker for Taew, and the two were first noticed when a reporter approached them at Lhong 1919. Ever since, they have been an inspiration to those suffering from dementia.
 
The pop-up will begin at 5pm and feature at the GalileOasis Window Display with Kamuim Fine Arts & Décor.
