Eight Thonglor is marking its 17th anniversary this month with the “Eight Thonglor 17th Anniversary: The Comfort of Thonglor” campaign, running for 9 days from Aug 23 to 31. Instead of one big bash, the community mall is rolling out nine days of pop-ups, dining specials, and a mall-wide sale of up to 80 percent.

Dining is the anchor here, with names like Sushi Hiro, The Blooming Gallery, Din Tai Fung and Masala Art putting out seasonal specials and bundle deals, while Paul, burger specialist Quickie and Ronnie’s lean into the sweet stuff.

It’s not just about eating. Tena Clinic and S125 Clinic are offering wellness perks for regulars and first-timers alike, while style hunters can dig through anniversary picks at The Vintage Store, Shaka, Urban Dude and Chirawatt. Pop-ups from lifestyle names like Amber and Nature Guard hint at a broader push beyond the typical mall mix.

One of the more unique elements of the celebration is how it’s structured around the rhythms of a local’s day: morning coffee at 101 & Co., a casual lunch at Sushi CYU, maybe a stroll through the boutiques, and a nightcap at 008 Bar.
