Good news for drinkers who dig craft brews from Myanmar.
Opening as a craft beer must-try in 2023, Burbrit’s Phrom Phong spot earned it a place on 2025’s BAD Awards Best Beer Bar list as a finalist, and now they’ve got a new spot for the Phra Khanong crowd.

Quietly launching the new spot for a soft opening about two weeks ago, the Burbrit sign is easy to find from the road, and inside they’re serving up, you guessed it, a selection of Myanmar craft beers.

For those unfamiliar, they’re sporting about a dozen craft beers from Myanmar—sectioned into classic, American-inspired, and unique—along with a few cocktail options starting at B200 for those who aren’t into the beer scene.

More than that, Burbrit is a pretty fun entrance into the world of Burmese food for the uninitiated; it’s unpretentious and easy on the wallet. You can pick up a tea leaf salad for B120 and Burmese fritters for B140.

Across the menu, they’re also serving up beer bites like wings, satay, and quesadilla, but you’ll really want to check out their Myanmar offerings.

The interior is a little different from the Phrom Phong version, with less of a British pub atmosphere and more of a sports bar vibe with a little neon here and there—you could even call it a little fast-food-y.

With several venues in Myanmar, Burbrit’s name is a portmanteau of “Burmese” and “British,” which are the nationalities of the four founders.

Phra Khanong and Onnut are coming up in the world of craft beer. Radicle only recently opened up for the Onnut crowd last month, and spaces like Arcadia and hole-in-the-wall Hoppy Hour are a great stop for beers you haven’t seen before.
